Sunday Morning
A simple track which was created on Sunday Morning some years ago. It is interesting for me because I totally overdo it with my favorite filters. Digital Delay, Digital Reverb and Cut-Off filter and a heavy baseline which becomes very aggressive towards the end of the track.
Back to back
This track came to my life when I was trying to stay alive between family, doctorate research and coding. This period was a tough one.
Once more, It is one of those compositions that I use a prologue and a main theme as epilogue. Inspired by Vangelis’ music.
The Gathering
The Gathering is again one of my favourite tracks. Completely inspired by Moby (Play). Created in a time where I had to decide on taking or not a big personal step in my life. I took the plunge, finally. Yet, I am still not sure if I did the right thing :-).
Most of my tracks comprise of two parts. An introductory part and a main theme-epilogue part. For some unknown reason to me, I like my epilogues to be the main part of the composition. This track is a good example of the way I like to write.
5am call
This track has won the 2nd prize (original instrumental score) in the MakeMusic contest 2005 sponsored by the Greek PC Magazine.
It is inspired by a very difficult period of my life. A period which lasted many weeks. However, there came one day when I received a phone call at 5am which changed everything. This song is one of my favourites.
Platoon Game Theme {remixed}
One of my favourite old Amstrad CPC games was Platoon. I liked its theme song so much, that I decided (as a small tribute) to remix it. You can find the original here: Platoon Game Main Theme
I hope other remixes from other retro games to follow.
